and Northeast Implement have introduced two
commercial grade, portable, PTO driven chippers;
The Farmi CH260 and the Farmi CH380 chipper.
With chipping capacity of up to 10 1/4” on the
CH260 and up to 15” on the CH380, you are sure
to find a chipper that meets you chipping needs.
Both chippers are available as a stand-alone unit
or it can be packaged with a loader for hands
free, production based chipping. If your looking
for chip output, the CH260 will average 13-52 cu.
yd./hr while the CH380 will chip a massive 39-131
cu. yd/hr. Both chippers come standard with a
massive double disc chipping system, which allows for consistent, splinter free, uniform chips. These chip sizes can be adjusted depending on your application anywhere from 1/4” to 1” on the CH260 and between 3/8” to 1 3/16” on the CH380. The average power requirement on both units is approx 10hp per 1” of material being chipped. A no-stress feature, standard on the CH380, allows the feed mechanism to stop automatically when the chipper speed goes under a preset value. This allows more consistent chips, better output, the use of a smaller power source and avoids unnecessary stops of your tractor.
